LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – After a successful fall slate that included a trio of top-2 finishes, the UNLV women’s golf team opens its spring in San Diego at the San Diego State Classic being held at the Heights Golf Club from Monday-Tuesday (Par 72, 6,376 yards/6,356 yards).
THE FIELD: In a 12-team field, the Rebels tee off against the host Aztecs, No. 1 Stanford, BYU, Colorado, Denver, Fresno State, Georgia, New Mexico, Oregon State, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.
UNLV LINEUP: Representing the Scarlet & Gray will be seniors Toa Yokoyama, Mayumi Umezu, McKenzi Hall and Hina Matsui joined by sophomore Zi Yu Foong.
SCHEDULE: Three 18-hole rounds will be played, including 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Each day begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
