FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – The Presbyterian College Blue Hose women’s golf team finished day two at the Fripp Island Intercollegiate on Sunday evening.
After finishing the first round with a score of 309 (+21), the Blue Hose hit for 318 (+30) in the second round to place sixth with a two-round score of 627 (+51).
Wofford leads the tournament with a two-round score of 617(+41), while Winthrop’s Constanca Mendonca is atop the individual leadboard after hitting for a two-round score of 145 (+1).
RESULTS
– Once again Taylor Reaves led the charge for the Blue Hose, hitting for 78 (+6), placing her in fourth with a two-round score of 151 (+7).
– Sarah Boteler hit for a second-round score of 79 (+7), finishing the day tied for 13th place with a two-round score of 157 (+13).
– Tied for 16th place is Maddie Peake, who hit for 83 (+11) in the second round, and finished the day with a two-round score of 159 (+15).
– Sofia Carles jumped up in the leaderboards to tie for 18th place after hitting for 78 (+6) today and earning a two-round score of 150 (+16).
– Lextyn Petz, who is competing as an individual, tied for 33rd place with a two-round score of 167 (+23).
– Sloane Spessard rounded out the Blue Hose score, hitting for 85 (+13) in the second round and finishing in 35th place with a two-round score of 169 (+25).
