Real Madrid to play Intercontinental Cup Final at Lusail Stadium in Qatar
Real Madrid will play the Intercontinental Cup final on December 18 at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar, it was announced on Tuesday.
it has been confirmed for a while that Real Madrid will play in the final, but it is not yet known who is going to face Real Madrid in the final of a competition that is basically the rebranding of last year’s Club World Cup.
The tickets to the engine continental Cup final will go live on FIFA’s website on 21st of November 2024.
Real Madrid may have to go short-handed into the competition as they still have a bunch of injuries, and it’s not yet confirmed whether most of those players will come back in time for the game. Aurelien Tchouameni and Rodrygo are both big doubts, whereas Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal are obviously ruled out due to ACL injuries.
However, Real do hope to recover Lucas Vazquez just before the game, which helps because he’d be Real Madrid’s only ‘natural’ right-back.
