The Ravens haven’t been quite as dominant so far in 2024 as they were in 2023, but they’re still in a strong position entering Week 15.
Baltimore sits at 8-5, good enough for a current AFC wild-card spot. However, Lamar Jackson and company still have some work to do in order to have a shot at the Super Bowl.
With teams like the Colts, Dolphins and Bengals still in the hunt for a playoff position, the Ravens will need to close out the regular season on a strong note to make the postseason.
What does Baltimore’s path to the 2024 NFL playoffs look like? Here’s what to know about the Ravens’ chances to make the postseason, including a look at their upcoming schedule.

The Ravens do trail the Steelers (10-3) in the AFC North entering Week 15, but they could still make a comeback in the division. With four games remaining for both squads, Baltimore trails Pittsburgh by just two games, so a few Ravens wins and Steelers losses could change the dynamic within the division.
However, the more likely path to the postseason for John Harbaugh’s squad is a wild card spot. Right now, the Ravens own the AFC’s No. 5 seed, owning the tiebreaker over two other 8-5 squads: the Chargers and Broncos. Here’s a look at the current AFC playoff picture:
Rank | Team | Record |
1 | Chiefs | 12-1 |
2 | Bills | 10-3 |
3 | Steelers | 10-3 |
4 | Texans | 8-5 |
5 | Ravens | 8-5 |
6 | Chargers | 8-5 |
7 | Broncos | 8-5 |
8 | Colts | 6-7 |
9 | Dolphins | 6-7 |
10 | Bengals | 5-8 |
With the top seven squads making the playoffs, things are looking good for the Ravens. Two wins down the stretch could be enough to lock down a spot, but three wins will definitely be enough to fend off any last-minute comeback attempts from Indianapolis, Miami and Cincinnati.
Considering the Ravens currently own the tiebreaker over Los Angeles and Denver as well, they’re set up nicely to make a return to the playoffs soon.
