Former Pakistani star wicketkeeper-batter Rashid Latif put the blame of division of Pakistan cricket team on the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zaka Ashraf.
Rashid even blamed Ashraf for attempting to divide the Pakistan team in his tenure. Zaka Ashraf served as the chairman of PCB from July 2023 to January 2024. Ashraf claimed that he made changes in the squad of Pakistan before the World Cup, even though captain Babar Azam came in support of his players and disagreed with the changes.
Ashraf gave his resignation from the position earlier this year, and Moshin Naqvi was appointed as the new chairman.
In his show, “Caught Behind”, Rashid criticized Ashraf for dividing the Men In Green. Latif disagreed with the claims of Ashraf about Babar Azam and stated that it was not the responsibility of Babar to select the team.
