Jalen Milroe talks Alabama career, NFL hopes at 2025 Senior Bowl
The Alabama football quarterback spoke at the 2025 Senior Bowl about the Crimson Tide and his NFL hopes.
NFL stadiums are supposed to enhance fan experience. While your favorite team may be losing, the stadium is supposed to ease that pain and remind you that it’s still a lovely day, the atmosphere has been fantastic, and it was totally worth paying hundreds of dollars to get out to the stadium.
Unfortunately, some fields are much better at doing so than others. While big events like the Super Bowl or college football national championship will force stadium owners to ramp up the experience, nothing offers quite as trustworthy a review of the average NFL stadium experience like the fans themselves. With a little help from Yelp, USA Today is offering a look at the highest and lowest-rated stadiums across the league.
Before the list gets going, here’s how the list was determined:
Kristen D. from Tuscon, Arizona, writes, “Came from AZ to watch my Vikings play the Seahawks. First time in the stadium. It was laid out well. Lots of food options. Bathrooms were clean. Fans were cool for the most part. The loudness that was expected was true. The only thing I’d say that is negative is the sound of the squawking seahawk felt like I was getting tazed done to my soul. That was gnarly!” – 5 stars
Eric H. from Olympia, Washington, writes, “I’ve been to quite a few Seahawks games and now two Sounders games and the experience is unreal! The food is OK but pretty expensive and a wonderful drink selection but also expensive! It was my godson’s first soccer match and he had a great time! Such a loud and wonderful stadium!!!” – 5 stars
Danny H. from West Covina, California, writes, “Pretty cool stadium! We came here for a Chiefs vs. Broncos game! I would recommend coming early and parking by the aquarium and walking to the stadium. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk, not too bad! Seats were nice wherever you sit to see all the action!” – 4 stars
Patrick S. from Torrance, California, writes, “What a great place to see a game. Staff was great we liked the food and drink options. Very clean and well posted signs. The gift shop has lots of great gear to spend your money on. The stadium made the game that much more fun.” – 5 stars
Mavis R. from Marlboro, Maryland, writes, “My first experience in Pittsburg was attending a Steelers vs. Packers football game. I am not a football fan, however I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the crowd! I’ve attended other football games in other cities and I can say the crowd here wasn’t like others I’ve experienced; they were very lively and into the actual game and it made for a really great experience.
We went during November and not only was the weather perfect that day but we had great seats. It was extremely packed in the stadium, which may have added to my experience of it being a very lively crowd. They also had good selections at the concession stands and they were only a short distance from our seats. I’d definitely recommend attending an event here.” – 5 stars
Nicole J. from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, writes, “Another great night at acrisure stadium for a Steelers game. Security lines were quick, drinks were cold and it the Steeler came in hot against the browns! Can’t wait for the next game!” – 5 stars
Steve M. from Munster, Indiana, writes, “Great place to see a football game. Today the window was open but the roof was closed. Plenty of bathrooms and concessions. The video boards are huge and can be seen from everywhere. Plenty of entrances and exits. Plus you can walk to it from basically anywhere downtown.” – 4 stars
Joan R. from St. Louis, Missouri, writes, “Came here for the Eras tour concert and was blown away by this venue!! I went in through the back entrance due to having floor seats, the entry was very smooth. I parked at Victory field which was within walking distance. The building is absolutely stunning and I think the huge window is so cool! I grew up in Indiana during the days of the RCA dome so this was a treat! Well done Indy!!” – 5 stars
Jules F. from El Centro, California, writes, “This was our first time ever attending a game at Lambeau Field. I would absolutely recommend attending a Packer game at this historical field. Everyone is so very welcoming and you can feel the energy from fellow fans. Check out the stadium tour while you’re here as you will get a deeper dive into the history of the field, team and the NFL.” – 5 stars
Bill S. from St. Louis, Missouri, writes, “We were passing through Green Bay on the way to Door County and decided to stay a night in town. We had a room about two blocks away. We were happily surprised to learn we could go inside the stadium space to visit the gift shop, see the entrances and go to the 1919 Restaurant on the second floor to enjoy a nice dinner. Great sports atmosphere and reasonable prices! What a great experience!” – 5 stars
April H. from Charlotte, North Carolina, writes, “While on vacation in NYC my friend and I decided to grab some tickets to a game. Getting to the stadium is a pain so be warned. The stadium was fine, it kinda felt like it was on another planet which was pretty neat. Food was fine but the lines were super long and slow. Fans were great and even the cheap, upper deck seats were pretty good.” – 3 stars
Craig H. from Manhattan, New York, writes, “MetLife stadium is so disappointing first of all from the outside it just looks like a giant air conditioner. Second of all the stadium is super inconvenient to get around and doesn’t look nice on the inside. Atmosphere did get loud when Giants were good in 2022. Also good for tailgating before the game” – 2 stars
Erick F. from Washington, D.C., writes, “Gorgeous stadium but worst experience getting to and from it. The Rideshare drop off “lot” is so far away. Their website says it’s a 25-minute walk. More like a 45 min – 1 hour walk. The lot isn’t even an actual lot. It’s just a road where cars are pulling off. Exiting the stadium felt like a nightmare as there was no crowd control and felt crammed.” – 2 stars
Shaun R. from Clay, New York, writes, “Needs an update. Parking and leaving is such a disaster! I dread having to come me every time.” – 2 stars
Marylu L. from Buckeye, Arizona, writes, “All employees need to know how to get around the stadium. I tried to get to the main pro shop and got told so many different ways which turned into over 30 minutes of finding a way. Having to go to the upper level to walk around was very inconvenient and then the sign were wrong to check out. Irritating to have good seats and not be able to walk the stadium freely.” – 2 stars
Alison F. from Woodland Hills, California, writes, “For such a large venue I expected it to be easier to get around. Parking sucked even with a parking pass. There was such disorganization with picking up tix and vip passes for the show that we almost just left. $92 for two double pour drinks is absurd. The best decision we made was to leave an hour early to avoid traffic getting out…. We came, we saw, and will never come back for any event.” – 2 stars
Johnny T. from San Jose, California, writes, “Some dude working at Levi’s Stadium broke my phone. I don’t know why he do that and I just get new phone.” – 1 star
Su J. from Castro Valley, California, writes, “Unfortunately, I don’t have a positive opinion of this stadium. The food is expensive ordinary and poor quality. The Bay Area has some of the best cuisine but you would not know it by this stadiums food. The parking options are a headache. The seats are tightly placed. You are almost sitting in your neighbors lap. Nothing about this stadium is dazzling. I’m a 49ers fan but it’s a sacrifice to attend at this sub par stadium. Overpriced and overrated.” – 1 star
Michael F. from Gaithersburg, Maryland, writes, “I thought getting rid of Dan Snyder might lead to some improvements. I was very wrong. 3 metal detectors and 3 ticket scanners at the main gate for thousands of people. Use some of the $70 parking and $10 pretzel money to buy a few more.” – 1 star
Braydon K. from Pennsylvania writes, “You couldn’t pay me to come back to this stadium. It’s pretty awful. Traffic and parking is a DISASTER. VERY small parking spaces. The stadium’s configuration is bad too. It is hard to navigate around, staff is unfriendly, and the seats are very small and uncomfortable. It just felt dirty and outdated.” – 1 star
