DOWNEY – The Rancho Los Amigos Foundation held its annual golf tournament Oct. 21 at Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier, raising critically-needed funds for patients and programs at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.
“These funds play a crucial role in helping us to provide quality of life and reintegration programs for the patients of Rancho,” said foundation manager Zachary Deere. “Thank you to everyone who made the event such a fun, memorable, and successful day.”
Team Securitas won the golf tournament. The foursome was comprised of Brian Sanchez, Robert Stevens, Mark Shifman and Andrew Gulick.
Team Farmers & Merchants Bank finished in second place. Their team included Ernie Iriarte, Manuel Orozco, Armando Olivares and Jerahm Orozco.
In third place was Team Rose Hills Memorial Park, with Patrick Monroe, Jeff Nordschow, Greg Bradley and Mike Pokrywka.
Contest winners included Andrew Gulick and Lisa Thomson (Longest Drive), Jamie Jacobson and Dana Wallace (Most Accurate Drive), Patrick Monroe (Closest to the Pin), Yoni Gonzalez (Putting Contest) and Robert Corona (Marshmallow Drive).
