With the 2024 tennis season in the rear-view mirror, attention is already turning to what the New Year could bring.

After a year when the majors were split by Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s game and Aryna Sabalenka rose to the top on the women’s side, the Eurosport experts gathered to predict what lies ahead.

Tim Henman, Mats Wilander, Alex Corretja and Laura Robson sat in front of the camera to deliver their 2025 season predictions.

They included some punchy calls, from Jack Draper reaching the Wimbledon final to Emma Raducanu making her long-awaited comeback.

Here is what they had to say.

• Robson: For 2025, I’m going Alcaraz.
• Wilander: Jannik Sinner will win more Grand Slams than Carlos Alcaraz. A minimum of two Slams from Mr. Sinner.
• Henman: I think Alcaraz is going to win more Slams in 2025 than Sinner.
• Corretja: I think they might tie it this year.

• Robson: Yeah. He’s got Andy Murray as his coach, he’s got to win a Slam.
• Wilander: Novak Djokovic will win another Grand Slam is my prediction. 
• Corretja: He can win any of them.

• Wilander: Aryna Sabalenka will win yet another Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. That makes it three in a row.
• Robson: I’m going Sabalenka.
• Henman: The AO on the women’s side is going to be won by Zheng [Qinwen].
• Corretja: I’m going to go for [Elena] Rybakina. I’m actually thinking she might finish as No. 1 this year.

• Wilander: Aryna Sabalenka is a lot better than Elena Rybakina, Alex.
• Robson: I think Sabalenka again.
• Henman: [Iga] Swiatek is going to finish No. 1.

• Corretja: I think Sinner will finish No. 1 again.
• Henman: Carlos Alcaraz.
• Robson: I’m going Alcaraz again I think. [Sascha] Zverev can’t be too far off.

• Robson: I reckon Sinner.
• Henman: Novak Djokovic.
• Wilander: I think Carlos Alcaraz is going to be playing better than ever at the Australian Open.
• Corretja: Carlitos!

• Corretja: I’m going to give the chance to Zverev. And why not have a big surprise this year at Wimbledon with [Hubert] Hurkacz?
• Henman: Sascha Zverev.
• Robson: I’m going to say no [to a new winner] on the men’s.
• Wilander: Holger Rune. Is he from Sweden? No, he’s from Denmark, but he’s Scandinavian, and it’s time we had another Scandinavian Grand Slam titlist.

• Corretja: The most successful one is going to be Goran [Ivanisevic] and Rybakina.
• Robson: I’m going to go Rybakina and Ivanisevic.
• Henman: Ivanisevic and Rybakina.
• Wilander: Andy Murray is starting a new career and he’s going to be one of the greatest coaches of all time.

• Corretja: I’m going to go with Belinda Bencic.
• Henman: I’d like to see Belinda Bencic have a big 2025 on the court.
• Wilander: Emma Raducanu. I’m hoping and praying that she can be the comeback player of the year.
• Robson: Why not Emma [Raducanu] for 2025, comeback player of the year.

• Corretja: I’m going to go with Nick Kyrgios. Top 20? I think he can do that.
• Wilander: The comeback player of the year on the men’s side is definitely Nick Kyrgios.
• Henman: I think we can expect to see bigger and better things from [Denis] Shapovalov in 2025.

• Wilander: My very, very, very bold prediction for 2025 is that Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner will win the calendar Grand Slam.
• Corretja: I would like Novak to win one more major and share a nice moment with Andy after he’s stolen so many majors off him.
• Robson: Jack Draper is going to be in the final of Wimbledon.
• Henman: I would like to see 10 British players in the top 100. I’ll be watching.
