MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Quinnipiac women’s golf team kicked off their spring slate and sit in 10th place after day one of the Columbia Classic in Melbourne, Florida.
First-year Vaidehi Shah shot a 77 (+5) in the second round of the Columbia Classic, finishing in a tie for 21st place. Shah recorded a two-round total of 151 (+7).
Senior Fuge Zhang, competing as an individual, carded a two-round total of 153 (+9) to finish in a tie for 33rd place. First-year Marisa Flores also finished in 33rd place, posting a 77 (+5) in round one and a 76 (+4) in round two.
Meg Yoshida finished in a three-way tie for 46th place with a two-round total of 156 (+12).
Sophia Fujita and Samantha Galantini rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping in a tie for 56th place.
The Bobcats will return to the course on Sunday, Feb. 9th as they close out play at the Columbia Classic.
