Doha, Qatar: Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) has received the ‘Excellence in Mobile Banking’ Award at Finnovex Qatar 2024, an event that celebrated technology and innovation in banking services.
The event, held recently at the Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay Hotel, was attended by numerous representatives from financial and banking institutions, along with digital technology specialists.
Talal Al Jaidah, Head of Banking Products at QIIB, accepted the award during a ceremony at Finnovex Qatar 2024, which honoured leading institutions in digital banking services.
The summit organisers explained their rationale for awarding QIIB and noted: “QIIB demonstrates leadership and a strong commitment to innovation, focusing on advanced mobile banking technology. It has achieved an exceptional leap in its mobile banking services for various customer segments recently.”
