Qatar – Kyrgyzstan match moves to another stadium
AKIPRESS.COM – The match between the national football teams of Kyrgyzstan and Qatar has moved to another stadium.
The third qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup in Asia will be held on October 10 in Qatar at 10:00 Bishkek time.
Earlier it was reported that the game will take place in the Ahmad bin Ali stadium, but the game was moved to another stadium Al Thumama, which accommodates 44.4 thousand spectators.
This stadium hosted 8 matches of the 2022 World Cup, including the quarterfinals between Morocco and Portugal (1:0). Also Al Thumama hosted 6 games of the Asian Cup 2024.
The Kyrgyz national team has not yet played in this stadium.
