Qatari energy minister and CEO of QatarEnergy, Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi has criticized implementation of the EU’ Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D). It affects any company that earns more than €450 million from deals in or from Europe, making them accountable for tier 1, 2 and 3 emissions and liable for a penalty of up to 5% of their worldwide revenue.
