Kuwait, August 01 (QNA) – The Qatari team beat the Omani team 111-57 in their match on Thursday, as part of the Gulf Youth Basketball Championship under 18 years, hosted by Kuwait and will conclude on Friday.
The Qatari team succeeded in achieving the third consecutive victory in the championship, as they opened their journey by defeating the Kuwaiti team 79-60, then won their second match against the Saudi team 86-76, and then continued their victories against the Sultanate of Oman, today, to achieve a full score in its three matches that they played in the championship so far.
The Qatari team will meet their Bahraini team ton Friday in the final matches of the championship.
The champion and runner-up will qualify for the Asian Cup finals, which will be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, from September 2 to 9. (QNA)
