Qatar Airways has unveiled the next generation of the QSuite, its business class product, calling it the ‘QSuite Next Gen.’ The airline showcased the new business class seats at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024.
At the event, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Qatar Airways, stated that for many years, the airline’s focus has been the passenger experience.
“Today, we are here to announce something very important for Qatar Airways. Customer experience and customer satisfaction is a very important pillar in the mission and vision of Qatar Airways.”
Al-Meer added that the airline’s QSuites have been the industry benchmark for a very long time, noting that the airline has decided to raise the benchmark and expectations for its customers with the new business class cabin.

The product is expected to be the centerpiece of the airline’s presence at the airshow.
During the presentation, Sama, Qatar Airways’ artificial intelligence (AI)-powered cabin crew member, helped Al-Meer to introduce the new suites.
The airline stated that the current QSuite had been developed more than a decade ago, being first launched in 2017 and becoming the household name in the industry.
With the new QSuites that would be fitted on the carrier’s 777X, Qatar Airways promised to redefine luxury onboard an aircraft. It would enhance passengers’ ability to connect with their families, friends, and digital worlds.
The new QSuites will be wider with more shoulder and leg room, with the airline also promising an even wider lie-flat bed. Furthermore, the seat could be adjusted to suit a passenger with as much privacy as they need, according to the carrier.
Qatar Airways also stated that Starlink would be available for its customers, including for those flying on the new QSuites. The carrier announced that it would fit three Boeing 777-300ERs with Starlink by the end of 2024 in May.
