Qatar Airways has announced travel packages for fans who want to attend the Legends El Clásico match between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid on 28 November 2024 at Khalifa International Stadium. As an added attraction, the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2024 is also scheduled for that week.
The airline’s package for El Clásico includes return flights, accommodation, and match tickets. The airline also offers a separate, similar package for the Formula 1 event. Qatar Airways Holidays also offers airport transfers, Doha city tours, and other experiences in Qatar which can be added to the sporting event packages.
Both event packages also offer exclusive benefits to members of the airline’s Privilege Club. Members can earn double rewards by collecting Avios and Qpoints on flights and earning Avios and Qpoints on the total value of the booking. Members can also use Cash + Avios to book their sports package.
It’s a neat deal if you want to attend either event.
Qatar Airways has several sporting partnerships. It is the Official Airline of FIFA, The Asian Football Confederation, Paris-Saint Germain (PSG), Internazionale Milano, The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), CONCACAF, the FIA World Endurance Championship, the IRONMAN Triathlon Series, the United Rugby Championship (URC) and European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), French Rugby Team – Section Paloise, The British and Irish Lions Tour of Australia 2025, The Brooklyn Nets NBA Team, and other sports including Australian football, equestrian, kitesurfing, motor racing, padel, squash, and tennis.
And Qatar Airways is not alone. Many airlines have forged multiple sports-related partnerships and often offer promotional deals for major sporting events, even when they aren’t official sponsors.
