Purdue men’s basketball is coming off of a tough loss to the Aggies from Texas A&M in Indianapolis. This was the only game for the Boilermakers last week and so they had an 0-1 week. Not putting their best foot forward for the ever fickle AP voters. So, it was assumed that when rankings came out today Purdue would fall, but how far was the question.
I love a good Lord of the Rings quote so anytime I can use one I will. But still, we would have loved to always remain in the top 15 but the streak was bound to end at some point. It just happened to be this week. Now, next week, after Purdue takes down #2 Auburn, it’s time to start a new streak of being in the AP Top 15. One game at a time.
