The next five finals of the T100 Triathlon World Tour series will all take place in Qatar, it has been unveiled.
Through a partnership between the organizing Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), Visit Qatar, the World Triathlon body, and the Qatar Triathlon Federation, the 2025 edition will be held in Doha between December 11 and 13.
It will also be known as the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final.
The inaugural edition of the competition last year was held in Dubai. That series launched last January as a joint venture between the PTO and World Triathlon.
Sam Renouf, chief executive at the PTO, said: “We’ve been very clear with our strategy for the T100 Triathlon World Tour to visit iconic locations, along with our desire to position the series as a race to one ‘hero’ destination, as happens in many other professional sports.”
He added: “This five-year partnership with Visit Qatar allows us to do exactly that, with the season-long series now being known as the T100 Race to Qatar in one of the fastest growing, family-friendly, tourist destinations in the world.”
