ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech looks to improve on its ninth place finish this past week at the Sea Best Invitational in Atlantic Beach, Florida.  The Bulldogs, who had limited practice time due to weather leading up to the event, shot 27 over as a team (291-295-293=879) and recorded just three rounds at or under par. 
 
Niilo Maki-Petaja was the top finisher for the Bulldogs, tying for 33rd after shooting four over (72-70-75=217).  The lefty sophomore has been the top finisher for LA Tech in all six events this season and is currently ranked No. 200 in the country with a stroke average of 70.17.
 
Oskari Schuvalow was right behind him, shooting five over with rounds of 71, 73, and 74 to tie for 38th, his best finish on the player leaderboard this season.  He has shot at or under par in five of his last seven rounds and owns a stroke average of 73.67 this season.
 
Freddie Surgey will be making his seventh appearance for LA Tech.  The freshman tied for 45th at the Sea Best Invitational after shooting seven over.  He has a current stroke average of 73.72.
 
Gray Kingrea will be part of the team roster at the Hal Williams Collegiate.  He had the best round for the Bulldogs at the Sea Best Invitational, shooting a bogey-free 69 (-2) in round one.  This will be his third event of the season. 
 
Rounding out the roster will be Riley Hnatyshyn who will be competing for the first time since the Argent Financial Classic, which was the opening event of the season.  In that event, he tied for 64th after shooting 10 over.
