GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Police Department is investigating after they said a thief crashed through a fence at Fluor Field.
The Greenville Drive posted a picture of the damaged Main Street Gate at Fluor Field on Monday, saying the incident occurred 45 days before the Drive’s opening day.
Police said a suspect jumped the fence at the ballpark, stole a golf cart from the field, and drove it through the gate on the way out.
The stolen golf cart was later located in front of Kmart on Steven Street.
No arrests have been made in the investigation, but the incident was captured on security cameras. The gate has been repaired.
