TROUTDALE Ore. (KPTV) – A man found dead in a Troutdale parking lot over the weekend was found to have died of natural causes, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives say no crimes were involved in the death, after a medical examiner ruled on the cause of death.

The man, identified as 61-year-old David Strickler, was found on top of a pair of shopping carts in a Troutdale Home Depot parking lot around 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
Investigators say the man, who was experiencing homelessness, had been placed on a sheet of plywood on top of the shopping carts by concerned bystanders in an effort to get him to a nearby hospital.
