A Huntington Station man is facing charges after police say they found illegal gambling machines inside of a deli.
The machines were found at Jenny’s Deli & Grocery on New York Avene in Huntington Station.
Police say people were also drinking at the store, which does not have a liquor license.
Detectives say Francis Perez, an employee, had a knife on him.
Perez was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, promoting gambling, possession of gambling devices, criminal nuisance, five counts of allowing consumption of beer on premises and disorderly premise.
Several State Liquor Authority violations were also observed and referred to the SLA for further investigation. The Town of Huntington fire marshal and building inspector issued eight violations to the business.
Perez, 50, was released on a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
