ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) – A teenager was killed in a crash involving a golf cart and SUV in Rock Hill Thursday night.
Rock Hill officers were called out around 10:05 p.m. July 25 to the 4200 block of Laurel Creek Drive for reports of a crash.
When they arrived, they said they found a Honda CRV and a golf cart, which had flipped over.
The preliminary investigation suggested that six people were in the golf cart and heading north on Laurel Creek Drive when they were hit head-on by the SUV, headed south in the wrong lane.
Of the six golf cart passengers, three were taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. A 16-year-old girl was killed at the scene.
The crash investigation is still ongoing.
