The auction of players was completed and teams’ jerseys were unveiled for the 6th edition of the RJPL Cricket League, at a function held here at Palm Courts on Ferozepur road today. The league is scheduled to be organised by the Jain and Aggarwal Society, in association with the Rasham Kintwears, RK Emporium and Trident Group from January 25 to February 2 here at the GRD Academy ground, Hambran road.
Manmohan Jain and Dinesh Goyal, president and treasurer, respectively of the society said 15 teams, comprising 195 players, went under the hammer during the auction that saw intense bidding competition among the participating teams. This year’s edition promised to be an exciting one, they said.
Tata Powers and Meta Soil Verse are the jersey and auction sponsors, while the event is being co-sponsored by Mittal Priting, Knows No Limits (KNL), Shiv Naresh Sports and LTH Exclusive.
Teams, namely Bistro Knight Riders, Chinmay Super Kings, CMS Bulls, Goyals Knight Riders, Ridge Man Rangers, Moment Stars, NK XI, Sudarshan Tigers, Super Stag Artisans, Sweet Touch Strikers, AK Ninjase, Techno Finishers, Jainsons Champions, M Jain Super Kings and Vidhata Warriors will be seen vying for the top honours during this league.
