House Hopper instantly reminded me of WHAT THE GOLF?, taking the basic idea of Golf and turning it into something totally absurd.
In this one you’re inside a house taking on the form of a household object, starting off as a dish scrubber and you have to flip yourself all around the house, across different surfaces and just attempt to keep going. It’s basically a 3D physics platformer with the levels being the house itself. It’s as funny as it is frustrating and with the demo live on Steam you should definitely give it a go.
The controls are a little funky to get used to, and there will be many mishaps where you’ve launched yourself just that bit too short or too far, and end up somewhere annoying — which is all part of the fun here. As you go through you also get to unlock more objects to become, each with their own unique shape that will change how you flip and land.
Looking forward to seeing more from this game and from the developer Random Games Generator.
Check out the demo on Steam. It has a Native Linux version. The full game is due to release on November 8th.
