Planet Fitness Has Reopened In Hoboken
HOBOKEN, NJ — After being closed since July for upgrades, the Hoboken location of the budget-friendly Planet Fitness chain reopened Thursday afternoon, a spokesperson confirmed.
Work was still being on the chain, at 605 Washington St., this week.
The chain is known for low membership rates starting at $15 per month. It also has massage chairs and membership events.
In the meantime, members were encouraged to use the Weehawken location at 4100 Park Ave., a walk of about 2.5 miles from the Hoboken location (see the route here). The Jersey City location is farther, on the west side of that city, 321 Route 440.
