CHILDRESS, Texas (KFDA) – Pilot Travel Center donated $10,000 to Childress ISD to celebrate the center’s recent remodel.
According to a news release, the donation will help fund the Plant Science pathway for Childress ISD students.
“We are excited to showcase our newly updated travel center with the Childress community and the travelers we serve every day,” said Allison Cornish, senior vice president of store modernization and development at Pilot. “We continue to listen to our guest’s feedback and strive to make their travel experiences easier and more enjoyable.”
The travel center at 2301 Ave F NW completed the following updates:
A news release states the updates were part of Pilot’s $1 billion store modernization initiative.
Pilot is also offering a one-time 25% discount on food and beverages at the Childress location through Aug. 25.
