QUINCY — The Quincy Notre Dame girls golf team conquered the elements Tuesday on its way to a West Central Conference title.
The Raiders’ top four golfers posted a 333 on holes 10 through 27 at a damp Westview Golf Course. Belle Boudreau finished with the low individual score with a 10-over 80. Meredith Eversman shot an 81, Natalie Druffel posted an 85, and Nancy Scholz rounded out the Raiders’ top four with an 87. Sam Reeder and Caroline Knuffman shot 105 and 108, respectively, to earn all-conference honors.
West Hancock finished second with a team score of 452, and Rushville-Industry placed third at 469. Lucy Woodworth and Abby Finch each posted a 107, the low scores for the Titans.
Liberty’s Brianna Troyer shot a 101, good for fifth place and the best mark out of the Eagles’ three players. Shelby Stout, the lone golfer for Southeastern playing in the tournament, matched Reeder with a 105.
