The 2023 first-round draft pick took some heat for a poor start to his second NFL season after earning sub-35.0 PFF overall grades in each of the Cowboys’ first three games. But in Week 4, he was the stout run defender they hoped for when they drafted him. Smith shined against the Giants with a pair of tackles resulting in a defensive stop and an 86.9 PFF run-defense grade.

Ebiketie won 17.4% of his pass-rushing reps and earned a 65.9 PFF pass-rushing grade in the Falcons’ win over the Saints. He was even more effective against the run, posting a 70.8 PFF run-defense grade and recording a defensive stop on 12 run-defense snaps.

Denver’s star defensive player earned a 76.8 PFF coverage grade from 51 coverage snaps on Sunday. Targeted just three times all game, he allowed just two receptions for 24 yards and forced an incompletion.

Hurts had a tough outing in the Eagles’ loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday, as turnovers continued to plague him. He completed 18 of his 30 pass attempts for 158 yards, managing just one big-time throw while committing three turnover-worthy plays.

Collins continued to dominate in the Texans’ win over the Jaguars on Sunday, nearly doubling the targets of any other Texans receiver. He finished the game with an impressive 3.33 yards per route run and earned an 89.5 PFF receiving grade.

McKinney’s impressive start to his Packers career continued in their loss to the Minnesota Vikings, as he recorded his fourth interception in as many games. Over four games, he’s allowed just two receptions in coverage and has earned an outstanding 89.5 PFF coverage grade.

A third-round draft pick a year ago, Downs averaged 3.57 yards per route run, picking up 82 yards from just 23 snaps on the field as a receiver. He finished the game with a 90.1 PFF receiving grade, leading all players in the game.

Sweat had a solid day as a pass-rusher, racking up a sack, a quarterback hit and another win that didn’t result in pressure from 22 pass-rushing snaps. He finished the game with a 15.0% pass-rush win rate and added a batted pass, too.

Hill rebounded from his season-low performance against the Commanders with a solid outing in the Panthers win, earning a 78.7 PFF coverage grade. He allowed only 12 yards on three receptions.

The Commanders offense remained impressive on Sunday, with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels leading the way. Daniels earned an 82.7 PFF grade in the victory, completing 27 of 32 passes for 235 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while also contributing 47 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Widely regarded as the NFL’s top defensive player through four weeks, Warner earned an outstanding 96.6 PFF grade in the 49ers’ victory over the Patriots. This marked his third game in four weeks with a grade above 90.0. In coverage, he allowed only one reception for 11 yards and recorded a pick-six.

The former seventh overall pick delivered the second-best performance of his career in the win against the Browns. On 30 pass-rushing snaps, he notched two quarterback hits and three hurries, earning a 77.4 pass-rush grade for the game.

Watson was targeted five times in the Chiefs’ win over the Chargers, but he didn’t allow a single reception. He recorded two forced incompletions and earned an impressive 89.6 PFF coverage grade for his performance.

Hill was a factor in the Ravens’ passing game early and often in their win on Sunday Night Football. The veteran running back finished the game with an average of 7.09 yards per route run, with three of his six receptions going for 15-plus yards.
