Third-round action is underway in Paris, as the men’s singles tournament continues Wednesday at Stade Roland Garros.
In this article, I will be breaking down my favorite DraftKings Sportsbook bet for Wednesday’s slate. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

I’m going back to arguably my favorite strategy in this sport, which is betting the game total under for the opponent of a heavy favorite.
This time around, we’re highlighting an EXTREMELY heavy favorite (-3500 on the moneyline) who needs no introduction in Novak Djokovic. Spoiler alert, I already wrote up a futures pick for Carlos Alcaraz to win gold in Paris, but that doesn’t exclude Djokovic from making a deep run.
I wanted to give the No. 2 player in the world a few matches to gauge his form and mobility coming off a disappointing Wimbledon final against Alcaraz, and he looks quite strong through the first two rounds at Stade Roland Garros.
Djokovic has opened his gold medal campaign — which is the only major trophy/award he has not won — with a dominant start, beating Matthew Ebden 6-0 6-1 before taking down legendary clay performer Rafael Nadal 6-1 6-4. This time around he draws Dominik Koepfer. These two have only faced off once back in 2020, but it was on clay at the Italian Open and Novak unsurprisingly advanced.
Entering this tournament, Djokovic had put together an interesting 2024 campaign on clay. His hold percentage was surprisingly low at 75.6%, but his break rate skyrocketed to a whopping 42%, which is ridiculous regardless of his quality as a player. That percentage is especially enticing when it comes to this prop, as he’ll need to break Koepfer at least three times to hold him under seven games.
Eventually, I expect Djokovic’s recent streak of success in Paris to come to an end, but it won’t be on Wednesday.
