More Indiana Pacers fans will have access to games on TV next season.
Comcast and Diamond Sports Group announced an agreement Monday that puts Bally Sports regional networks on the Xfinity Ultimate TV package, starting Thursday. Bally Sports Indiana carries Pacers games.
Bally Sports networks went dark on Comcast at the end of April, when the sides failed to agree on a deal.
Also, Xfinity Ultimate TV customers will be able to stream regional sports networks using the Bally Sports app. Diamond Sports Group previously announced distribution agreements with Charter Communications, DirecTV, Cox Communications and Fubo.

In a statement, Diamond SportsCEO David Preschlack said: “Entering a new carriage agreement with Comcast, our third largest distributor, is a critical step forward in our restructuring effort, and we are pleased that fans will again be able to access broadcasts of their local teams through Xfinity. With certainty on our distribution, we are focused on finalizing an agreement with the NHL and resolving our ongoing negotiations with the NBA. We are mindful that time is of the essence with basketball and hockey seasons fast approaching, and once agreements with our team and league partners are complete, we intend to move expeditiously to present a plan of reorganization to the Court.”
Diamond filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in March 2023, putting the future of several Bally regional sports networks in doubt.
