Justin Martinez writes: “OU’s offense has gone through a stretch of at least four straight drives without scoring a touchdown in every game this season. That can’t happen on Saturday if it wants to keep up with quarterback Nico Iamaleava and the Volunteers, who rank first in the nation in points per game (63.7). Wide receiver Nic Anderson could make his debut for the Sooners, and that would be a huge boost. But OU still doesn’t have much of a run game, and its short-handed offense line will struggle to fend off an elite Tennessee defense line that’s led by James Pearce Jr. The Volunteers will come out on top in this one.”

Bill Bender writes: “The Sooners are a ranked team making their SEC debut, and the line has dropped a half-point from its open. Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold and Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava will be the focus here. Arnold has been sacked nine times in three games, while Iamaleava has been sacked three times. If the Vols avoid turnovers and the running game gets going around Dylan Sampson, then that will spoil Oklahoma’s party. The Sooners have been a home underdog once this century – and that was a 45-24 loss to Ohio State in 2016. Are the Vols that good? We’ll find out.”

Cameron Ross writes: “This is a matchup between two top-15 teams as each have their sights set on a potential playoff run. Tennessee is one of the best offenses in the country and that will be the difference on Saturday. Look for the Volunteers to get out early on Oklahoma as the Sooners will be unable to keep up. Take the Volunteers to remain undefeated as they push for a top-five spot with a road win and cover against the Sooners.”
