ORLANDO, Fla. – Labor day may mark the traditional end of summer, but for Central Florida, it marks another busy travel weekend.
Orlando International Airport officials said around 900,000 people are expected to go through MCO over the six-day holiday travel period – a 1.4% jump from last year – with Labor Day expected to be the busiest day with 164,000 travelers.
According to AAA, overall domestic travel for the holiday weekend is up 9% compared to 2023, while the cost to travel down 2%.
