EUGENE — Oregon may be without another receiver for an extended period of time.
Kyler Kasper missed the past two games with a right foot injury and is wearing a walking boot and using a scooter. It’s possible the redshirt-sophomore does not return this season.
“I don’t know the timeline on Kyler,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said. “It might be hard to see him back this year; but I won’t put limitations on him and his ability to get back.”
Kasper has one catch for 21 yards this season. He played in each of the first four games and was beginning to see more reps, including in the end zone at UCLA.
His absence combined with the injury to Gary Bryant Jr., who has not played this season, unspecified discipline forthcoming for Traeshon Holden, and absence of freshman Jack Ressler leaves the No. 2 Ducks with seven scholarship receivers available.
