The Cleveland Browns will have to wait until their official visit before the 2025 NFL draft with Shedeur Sanders to see him throw as he will not work out at the NFL combine this week.
As NFL teams and prospects head to Indianapolis, Indiana, this week for athletic testing, team interviews, media availability, and more at the NFL combine, the Browns will only meet with the Colorado Football quarterback as they potentially look to draft one. According to NFL Network, Sanders will only focus on interviews this week and will not work out at the combine.
Holding the No. 2 overall pick, the Browns will at least sit in the room with Sanders for the second time after initially meeting with him at the Shrine Bowl in January. Sanders has already revealed as well that the Browns will be first up among this top-30 visits leading up to the 2025 NFL draft.
It is still to be seen if Miami’s Cam Ward will throw at the combine or if he will opt for interviews only. This is not uncommon as the top quarterbacks in years past have opted for the same pathway in Indianapolis.
