‘One-of-a-kind gifts.’ Downtown Canton shopping event features galleries and boutiques
CANTON − Downtown Canton will host a special holiday shopping event Thursday showcasing unique gifts at art galleries, boutiques and other businesses.
The Downtown Canton Art Gallery & Retail Holiday Shop Walk is 5 to 8 p.m.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Downtown Canton Partnership (on) this event, celebrating our downtown businesses,” said Maureen Ater, CEO of ArtsinStark. “This event shines a well-deserved spotlight on the artists, makers and retailers who make downtown Canton a vibrant hub for culture and community. With the holiday season upon us, this event makes it easy for people to shop local, support small businesses and find unique, one-of-a-kind gifts.”
Which downtown Canton galleries are participating in The Gallery and Retail Holiday Shop Walk?
Local musicians also will perform at each participating gallery:
- Austin Haig at Just Imagine by TWi, 207 Market Ave. N
- Scott Paris at Silo Arts Studio, 431 Fourth St. NW
- The Monea Brothers at Patina Arts Centre, 324 Cleveland Ave. NW
- Jazz guitarist Dan Wilson at Strauss Studios, 236 Walnut Ave. NE
- Gwen Grimes at Julliard Arts Center and 3rd Space Gallery, 600 Market Ave. N
- Pat Masalko at BZ Tat Studios, 730 Market Ave. S.
