OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball will start the 2025 season unranked in a major poll.
The Rebels were not ranked in USA TODAY Sports Preseason Coaches Poll. Ole Miss‘ season begins Friday, Feb. 14 against Arizona in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown in Arlington, Texas.
Ole Miss is attempting to bounce back from back-to-back losing seasons after winning the Men’s College World Series in 2022. The Rebels finished 27-29 (11-19 SEC) last season and did not make the NCAA tournament.
Coach Mike Bianco has added talent in an attempt to get Ole Miss back on top. Senior Isaac Humphery is the top-ranked player added out of the transfer portal. He is a left-handed hitting outfielder from Louisville. Humphery hit .300 at Louisville and started at least 50 games in each of the past three seasons. He hit 10 home runs and stole nine bases in.
