STILLWATER — The Oklahoma A&M Colleges Board of Regents is set to evaluate and assess the “employment of Oklahoma State University football staff” Friday morning, according to the agenda of a special meeting scheduled by the board.
The agenda for the meeting was published Wednesday afternoon, around the same time news broke that OSU was firing its offensive and defensive coordinators, Kasey Dunn and Bryan Nardo.
Mike Gundy just completed his 20th season as the Cowboys’ head coach.
The agenda had one noteworthy item: “Executive Session, if approved by the required number of members present, for the purpose of considering evaluation/assessment and other information relevant to the employment of Oklahoma State University football staff.”
If the executive session is approved, all discussion would be held privately behind closed doors. However, if any vote or action was to be taken, that must be done publicly.
The special meeting is to be held at 7:30 a.m. Friday in the Oklahoma State student union, with the regular meeting of the Board of Regents scheduled to follow at 10 a.m. Friday.
