OKC (1-4) finished Las Vegas Summer League play with an 88-79 win over Dallas (1-4).
Johnson finished with 20 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Thunder. Shackelford also poured in 20 points and six assists off the bench.
Lawson led the Mavericks with 19 points and seven rebounds. Gortman and Isaiah Whaley scored 14 points apiece.
OKC outscored Dallas 25-12 in the third quarter to take the lead, and Jaden Shackelford led the charge.
The 23-year-old guard erupted for nine points, two assists, one block and one steal in the quarter.
OKC entered halftime with momentum thanks to Johnson, who drilled a buzzer-beating 3-pointer that trimmed the deficit to 42-38.
Johnson and Leons scored nine points apiece for OKC in the first half. Lawson led the Mavericks with 11 points and two rebounds.
OKC scored the first four points of the game, but Dallas followed that up with a 17-2 run.
Johnson recorded five points and three rebounds for the Thunder, which only went 4 for 23 from the floor (1 for 8 from deep).
OKC’s starters will consist of Hunter Maldonado, Buddy Boeheim, Malevy Leons, Keyontae Johnson and Kylor Kelley.
Dallas’ starters will consist of Jazian Gortman, A.J. Lawson, Melvin Ajinca, Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Jamarion Sharp.
