The Crusaders hope a win will be enough to help them land a spot in the Division V playoffs. They enter the week 13th in Region 17. The top 16 qualify.
Central is trying to make the playoffs after starting the season with three straight losses. The Crusaders won four of five before last week’s 31-12 loss to unbeaten Mentor Lake Catholic.
Despite their record, the Knights still have an outside shot at a Division VI playoff berth. They need to beat Central and get some help to have any chance of landing a spot in Region 21.
Aquinas has been outscored 88-7 in two games since ending its 32-game losing streak.
