Syracuse, N.Y. — Camden High School offensive lineman Jojo White announced on Sunday night that he had verbally committed to the Syracuse University football program.
White has not yet been ranked by the four prominent college football recruiting websites. He lists himself as 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds. He is listed by 247 Sports as an interior offensive lineman in the Class of 2026.
White helped lead Camden to a 9-3 season last year. His team advanced to the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 sectional final and beat rival Camden Eastside to end the season. His team rushed for 2,650 yards on 360 carries, an average of 7.4 yards per rush.
Brown grew up in Camden and is known for his football connections in the northeast, particularly in the New Jersey area.
White is the sixth verbal commitment for the Orange in its Class of 2026 and the second offensive lineman in that group. He joins four-star offensive lineman Javeion Cooper, the headliner of the class in the early-going.
Syracuse’s collection of 2026 recruits is currently ranked No. 18 in the country by 247 Sports.
Verbal commitments are not binding until after a player signs a financial aid agreement with a school.
