Notre Dame women’s basketball will host No. 2-ranked Connecticut on Thursday in what has become one of college women’s basketball’s biggest rivalries.
The game will tipoff at 7 p.m. at Purcell Pavilion.
The Huskies (8-0) and Irish (7-2) have met 54 times, including eight times in the NCAA Tournament and twice in the NCAA Championship, with the Huskies holding a 39-15 advantage.
However, Notre Dame is on a two-game winning streak, including last year’s 82-67 decision in Connecticut where then-freshman guard Hannah Hidalgo scored 34 points.
