North Mass Boulder announces expansion for 2025
North Mass Boulder announced that it’s creating more space for more than just climbing.
The popular bouldering gym is expanding 4,820 sqft to bring a large-scale fitness studio and event space to the existing location + accommodate the growing demand of its community.
The new fitness studio will offer new equipment, certified trainers offering strength, high-intensity interval training, and TRX suspension classes, and an increased capacity.
The event space will serve as a social hub and is designed to host everything from community meet-ups, wellness workshops, and bouldering Q&As to corporate team-building events.
“This expansion means more than just space; it’s about creating a place where everyone can find a sense of belonging and wellness. We can’t wait to see our community thrive and grow here,” said Colt Reichart, co-owner and president of NMB.
The expansion will be built by Indianapolis-based Capital Construction within North Mass Boulder’s courtyard, located at the revitalized Box Factory building in the North Mass District. The project is expected to be completed in September.
