The No. 12 Boilermakers (15-4, 7-1 Big Ten) are riding a seven-game winning streak after sweeping their quick trip to the West Coast despite 5-of-25 combined 3-point shooting. Trey Kaufman-Renn (23 points, including 9-of-9 free throw shooting, 11 rebounds) and Braden Smith (15 points, 7 assists, 4 steals) guided Purdue against Oregon.
The Buckeyes (10-8, 2-5) have lost their last three games by a combined 5 points, including an overtime decision to Indiana. Devin Royal, OSU’s second-leading scorer and leading rebounder, didn’t play against IU with a wrist injury. He’s not on the Big Ten availability report, so he may play.
