MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 10 Washington University in St. Louis golf team is in third place following day one of the Montgomery Women’s Intercollegiate, hosted by Huntingdon College at the Montgomery Country Club.
The Bears carded a team score of 297 and sit behind No. 19 Mary Hardin-Baylor in first with 291 and No. 1 Carnegie Mellon in second with 292.
Senior Sydney Kuo is in third with a first-day score of 70 while junior Tiffany Chan is in 12th with a 74.
Sophomore Amy Beanblossom shot a 76 for 17th place and first-year Nicole McGuire is in 21st with a 77.
Sophomore Reagan Robinson rounded out the group in 31st with a 78.
The Bears wrap up the tournament tomorrow, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
