The No. 1-ranked Keiser women’s golf team claimed their second tournament win of the season, winning the SEU Invitational on Tuesday. Played at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Florida (Par 72, 6,010 yards), this year’s featured 10 teams, including six that are currently ranked in the NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25. The field also included all seven Sun Conference teams. Led by a stellar second round score of 283 (second-lowest round in program history), the Seahawks topped the team leaderboard 24 strokes ahead of the No. 3-ranked SCAD Savannah Bees, who finished second. 

Sophomore Mohea Mansbendel claimed medalist honors, shooting a 1-over, 217 (74-71-72). The tournament victory was the first of the season for Mansbendel and the second of her Keiser career. Senior Carolin Alblas notched her third top-5 finish of the season, placing tied for second with a 2-over, 218 (77-71-70). The Seahawks also had two other golfer place in the top 10 as Luz Maria Ardila finished seventh (10-over, 226) Sophia Sindersberger finished eighth (12-over, 228).

• Earned second top-5 finish on the year and the sixth of her Keiser career
• Posted a 1-under on Par 43s and on Par 5s
• Recorded tournament-best 39 par putts
• Registered a six birdies and one eagle

Carolin Alblas (+2) (77-71-70, 218) (T-2nd Place)

• Claimed third top-5 finish of the season and 11th of her career
• Shot a 1-under on Par 3s and Par 4s
• Registered 35 par putts
• Carded 10 birdies

Luz Maria Ardila (+10) (75-71-80, 226) (7th Place)

• Registered first top-10 finish of the season and sixth of her Keiser career
• Notched 33 par putts
• Tallied six birdies and one eagle

Sophia Sindersberger (+12) (80-71-77, 228) (8th Place)

• Shot a 3-under on Par 5s
• Recorded 30 par putts
• Had eight birdies

Ziqi Gao (+29) (85-81-79, 245) (31st Place)

• Posted a 1-under on Par 3s
• Carded 27 par putts
• Recorded five birdies
