The Seattle Seahawks are on CBS again for the third time this season, this time hosting the New York Giants in the late doubleheader window. Last year, the Seahawks played the Giants in front of a national audience on Monday Night Football. Needless to say, there will be a much smaller television distribution on this occasion.
Seahawks vs. Giants is second fiddle to the main 1:25 pm PT kickoff between the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams. This may yet be an entertaining game but the injuries to the Rams and their subsequent 1-3 start have made this a little less appealing on paper.
If you’re in the blue part of this 506 Sports coverage map, you’re getting the Seahawks game. In other words, you better be in the Pacific Northwest, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or New Hampshire.
Former Giants running back Tiki Barber will join Jason McCourty and play-by-play man Andrew Catalon in the CBS broadcast booth. Catalon and Barber (and Matt Ryan) called the Seahawks’ road loss to the Los Angeles Rams and road win over the Tennessee Titans.
