Williams is expected to play at center, potentially helping an offensive line that has been one of the team’s biggest problem areas in recent seasons. Williams spent the past two seasons with the Miami Dolphins, where he started in nine games before tearing his ACL in his left knee in December. He passed a physical with the Seahawks, according to Schefter.
The ACL injury was Williams’ second major injury during his seven-year career. He tore his ACL in his right knee during the 2019 season when he was with the Dallas Cowboys.
Williams also missed four games with a groin injury during the 2023 season. He sustained the injury during Week 3, but returned to play in Week 4, reaggravated the injury and missed the next three games.
