NFL preseason schedule Week 1: TV coverage, channels, scores for every football game today | Sporting News
The NFL is officially back, as Week 1 of the 2024 preseason brings a full slate of intriguing matchups.
The six quarterbacks selected in the first round of April’s NFL Draft are set for their first taste of game action. Commanders coach Dan Quinn already confirmed Jayden Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick out of LSU, will play in Washington’s first preseason game against the Jets.
Caleb Williams, the No. 1 overall selection out of USC, did not play in the Hall of Fame Game last Thursday. But Williams is expected to receive “45-55 snaps” this preseason, making his debut a possibility this week.
Quarterback intrigue also looms among two veterans in Pittsburgh, as Russell Wilson and Justin Fields extend their competition into game action against the Texans.
Elsewhere, on the coaching front, the Patriots embark on their post-Bill Belichick era against Bryce Young and the Panthers. Then, in Seattle, Jim Harbaugh will coach his first game for the Chargers against one of his proteges, former Michigan defensive coordinator and first-year Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald.

How to watch Week 1 NFL preseason games on TV
NFL Network will carry seven preseason games in Week 1 on national television. All other games will be available on local stations in the teams’ respective markets.
