Before the fourth Sunday of the 2024 NFL regular season kicks off, let’s have some fun by taking a look at the lines for the Week 4 games.
You can CLICK HERE for straight up NFL picks without regard to the spread. You can find all of the NFL betting lines via FanDuel.
My overall record is 21-27, which is behind the collective BGN community at 27-21. I really need to get my stuff together.
Here are suggestions when trying to beat the odds.
CINCINNATI BENGALS (-4.5) at CAROLINA PANTHERS: The Bengals probably aren’t 0-4 bad and thus must be due to win … but … Andy Dalton revenge game! Seriously, though, the Panthers looked much more competent in Week 3. They might not win but they’ll at least keep it competitive against a team coming off a short week and playing on the road. PICK: Panthers +4.5
DENVER BRONCOS at NEW YORK JETS (-7.5): Not sure if the Broncos winning last week was so much about them turning a corner as much as it was Tampa taking a tumble. Aaron Rodgers seems to be heating up. PICK: Jets -7.5
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS at ATLANTA FALCONS (-3): The Saints’ offensive line situation is concerning. But lest we forget that this offense was looking unstoppable over the first two weeks? The Falcons are hardly all that. PICK: Saints +3
MINNESOTA VIKINGS at GREEN BAY PACKERS (-2.5): The Vikings are hot. They’ve earned the benefit of the doubt until they lose it. I believe in the Packers more in the bigger picture but it’s unclear where Jordan Love is at coming off the injury. PICK: Vikings +2.5
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS at HOUSTON TEXANS (-6.5): I’ll go down believing in Doug Pederson. His team could be more dangerous than expected in this spot with their backs up against the wall. PICK: Jaguars +6.5
PITTSBURGH STEELERS (-2.5) at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: Fading Justin Fields has not worked out great for me thus far. But it’s going to pay off eventually since the Steelers have really struggled to score. PICK: Colts +2.5
LOS ANGELES RAMS at CHICAGO BEARS (-3): I know the Rams are really banged up but Caleb Williams has struggled and LA has showed good fight. PICK: Rams +3
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-1.5) at TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS: Tough to predict with A.J. Brown’s status up in the air. But the Bucs are pretty banged up as well. This game should be especially meaningful for the Birds after getting blown out and eliminated from the playoffs earlier this year. The Eagles will be out for revenge. PICK: Eagles -1.5

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS at SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (-10.5): The 49ers are obviously the better team but they’re also dealing with a lot of injuries. That’s a lot of points to lay. PICK: Patriots +10.5

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS at ARIZONA CARDINALS (-3.5): Jayden Daniels isn’t playing like a rookie. This game will be decided by no more than three points in either direction. PICK: Commanders +3.5

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-7) at LOS ANGELES CHARGERS: Justin Herbert’s health status is troubling. The Chiefs aren’t always great at covering the spread but they’ll inevitably win, so, might as well lean this way. PICK: Chiefs -7
CLEVELAND BROWNS (-1.5) at LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: Yuck. I can live with fading Deshaun Watson and getting it wrong. PICK: Raiders +1.5
BUFFALO BILLS at BALTIMORE RAVENS (-2.5): I mean, Josh Allen is looking pretty unstoppable. I don’t mind taking him with the points. PICK: Bills +2.5
TENNESSEE TITANS at MIAMI DOLPHINS (-1.5): I like a Tyler Huntley. Also, Will Levis can’t stop turning the ball over. PICK: Dolphins -1.5
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS at DETROIT LIONS (-3.5): The Seahawks are 3-0 but they haven’t been seriously tested this season. The Lions could be a reality check for them. PICK: Lions -3.5
