The Cleveland Browns are heading into NFL Draft season focusing on a handful of position groups, and Running Back is undoubtedly one of them.
Quite a few ball-carriers have been mentioned when it comes to potential targets for Cleveland over the past few weeks but one player in particular has been a hot topic: Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson.
To go along with other media personalities praising Henderson’s potential in the NFL, The Ringer’s Todd McShay divulged what other NFL Scouts and team executives have been saying about the Buckeye’s star running back.
“TreVeyon Henderson man, he’s going early. Like he might go first-round early”.
McShay said that he’s spoken to personnel directors who said they believe Henderson is just beginning to peak in terms of production. Some also believe that he’s going to be a better NFL player than he was a college player.
Though the praise for one of OSU’s most impressive players is welcomed, it would be unfortunate for the Browns because taking a running back even close to round 1 is probably out of the question.
